Systems, Inc., may collect, rent and/or buy confidential lists with business profile data on behalf of its clients (primarily pharmaceutical companies).  This list information may be used for product oriented mailings as well as a basis for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems which allow our clients' sales representatives to monitor and record their sales activities.  All such information whether collected, rented or purchased is stored and used in a manner to protect it's confidentiality and adheres to the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor framework and U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries and Switzerland. The M.A.P. World privacy policy outlines our overall policy and procedures for implementing the Principles, including the types of data we gather, how we use it, the notice and choice specific individuals have relating the use of and their ability to correct that data. This privacy policy applies to all personal data received by The M.A.P. World whether in electronic, paper or verbal format.


"Personal Data" or "Data" means data that relates to a specific individual that is recorded in any format and is transferred from the EU or Switzerland to the United States


"Sensitive Personal Data" means personal data that relates to race, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, and political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs.



M.A.P. shall inform an individual of the purpose for which it collects and uses the Personal Data. The individual will have the right and ability to limit the use of this data.


M.A.P. will allow individuals to opt out and not allow their Personal Data to be used by third parties. M.A.P. does NOT use Sensitive Personal Data.

M.A.P. takes appropriate precautions to protect the Data from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. M.A.P. has the necessary physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the Data.   All of the M.A.P. employees and third party suppliers agree to maintain the M.A.P. Privacy Policy by signing a non disclosure, confidentiality agreement. M.A.P. cannot guarantee the security of Data on or transmitted via the Internet.

Data Integrity

M.A.P. only processes Personal Data in a way that is compatible with the purpose for which it was collected and authorized by the individual. To the extent necessary for those purposes,M.A.P.  shall take reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Data is accurate, complete and current for its intended use.


M.A.P. allows an individual to access their Personal Data to correct, amend or delete inaccurate information.

Our site uses an order form for visitors to request information and for customers to order products and services. We collect visitor/customer contact information (like their name, address, telephone number, email address etc.), unique identifiers (like their account number), financial information (like their credit card numbers), and demographic information (like their zip code, job title, physician specialty etc.). Contact information from the order form is used to send orders and requested information about M.A.P. to our visitors and customers. We also use contact information from the order form to send other information about our company services. The customer's contact information is used to contact the customer when necessary. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the customer for products and services that were ordered. Unique identifiers (such as account numbers) are collected from Web site customers to verify the user's identity. Demographic and profile data is also collected at our sites.
